Obituary

On March 20, 1995, in Yonkers, New York, Theresa Williams and Clarence Williams welcomed their precious twin, baby boys, Tyris & Tyrik Boyd.

Tyris attended Union High School and later became employed with Ophthalmology Consultants of Tulsa as a visual field technician. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a proud member of Agape Outreach Ministries of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Tyris was a very family oriented man and loved spending his time with his younger brother and cousins, playing video games, and shopping. He especially loved playing basketball. His love and talent for the game allowed him to participate as point guard with the Rhema Basketball League.

Meeting Tyris at Heaven’s gate is maternal great-grandmother, Viola Spears, maternal great-aunt, Diane Darden, maternal grandmother, Dorothy White, and brother, Terrence McCall.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Theresa Williams, father, Clarence Williams, twin brother, Tyrik Boyd, brothers: Malachi Williams, Eric McCall, and Jakari Burks; maternal grandfather, Leon Spears, paternal grandparents: Birnis and Magdalene McKnight; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Tyris had such a bright and beautiful smile and charismatic sense of humor that will never be forgotten.
