Obituary

Lorene Marie Myers-Agyare, 66, Tulsa, OK soul moved beyond this world on June 13, 2019. Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 29, 2019. Visitation will be 3-8:00 PM, Friday, June 28.

Mrs. Myers, Agyare was born September 19, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a wonderful and loving mother, sister, grandmother, daughter and wife. She worked at Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Tulsa-Warren Place for over 35 years. She enjoyed the people she worked with and made some cherished friends and memories. She graduated in class of 1971 from Booker T. Washington. She loved her daughters, her pets (Fefe), and her plants. She could get anything to grow with her love, light and positive energy.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Idella and Simone Myers; and her husband Lawrence Agyare.

Survivors include her older sister Carletta Malveaux, her daughter Ketre Lorene Commons and husband Allan R. Commons; daughter Sheena Agyare; and her best amigo and grandson, Taylor Malone. She loved her daughters unconditional and her family. She spoiled her grandson with love, hugs and affection. She would do anything for her family. She was beautiful inside and out. She loved all people and accepted everyone. She will no longer have to worry about the worries of this world or deal with the heartache of losing her husband. During her cancer treatment she remained strong, positive and hopeful. She kicked cancer last year; however, her body could no longer hold onto her spirit of bright light and love. She made a home for her loved ones with her smile, laughter, and her heart. The memory of her will live on forever in the imprint of our hearts, in familiar places, and in recollections. We will always remember her smile and her joy. We know that tears will be shed, but it will be with joy that we know she is taking her walk in heaven surrounded in love. One day we will meet again in another place in heavens embrace.
