I just went and paid my final respects to you and you were looking dapper. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to answer your call the Tuesday before your passing. I’m at a loss for words right now. I know the struggles you have faced over the years and I know that you are no longer suffering in your body. May our God of comfort be there for your Mom, the boys, Melba, Eric and the rest of your extended family during this time. I’ve been praying for the family and I will continue to lift you all up in prayer. I loved you Osteen and you always told me I was a good egg. When I get to heaven you can get stew whenever you want it. We made lots of memories and I will forever cherish them.

  2. You will be missed my Brother & Friend. You were an amazing person, and your loss is deeply felt. Rest In Peace Brother. My condolences to all of Osteen’s Family and Friends. My heart goes out to Osteens mom; praying for you. praying for you all…

  3. My sincere condolences to the Steven’s Family. Osteen will be truly missed. Rest well my friend until we meet again on the other side.

  4. Had the opportunity to be an assistant coach when o steen was a player at Rulsa btw. Great student athlete. Played the same position that he played/ offensive center, so we had a lot on common. I have ran into #55, over the years and was glad to always see him. Was a goal oriented person, and took charge just like he did on the playing field. Willbe missed by his nationally ranked teammates and coaches. Had no idea that his services were today, didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. He left the huddle of life much to so, but god makes no mistakes. Thanks for the true grit, and the memories. Next play- o steen coming to heaven, on one. SET- HUT..

To the family of Osteen, Sorry, I could not be at the services today; but I tried. Osteen was a dear student of mine and I will never forget his sweet ways. God bless the family especially his Sister, Melba. Stay with God!
