Ms. Lisa Annette Bowie, “In her 59th season, received notice from the Master to come and take your rest, On December 16, 2016 with her angels and loving family by her side.

Services
Thursday December 22, 2016 at 11AM New Jerusalem Baptist Church 3427 North Birmingham Ave, Tulsa, OK. Pastor Michael Jackson – Eulogist. Services followed with cremation.
Lisa Annette Pidgeon was born on December 20, 1959 in Leadville, Colorado to Yannah Marshall and Bill Pidgeon. She was the third child of five children born.

Along with her family because of the elevation of Colorado affected Lisa’s breathing at birth the family relocated to Okmulgee, Oklahoma where she attended Okmulgee Publics Schools. Lisa at the tender age of 13 moved to Tulsa along with two of her siblings and mother. She was became employed at an early age has a housekeeper in the Tulsa area later becoming employed with the Best Western Hotel where she retired from her labor in 2006.

Although Lisa never had any children of her own. Upon the death of her sister, Tina in 2005, Lisa never wanting to replace the memory of her sister attained sole guardianship of her niece, Francesca and nephew, Jesus whom she loved dearly. She was later blessed to see the addition to the family her great-niece, Khaliya. Lisa was an extremely loving and nurturing aunt and caregiver.

Lisa accepted Christ as her Lord and Saviour and on December 1, 2013 she became a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.

In 1987, Lisa met Harry James “Coon Dog” Henry Hamilton and they shared a loving relationship for over 29 years. She was his confidant, companion and friend until the very end. In her spare time Lisa enjoyed going to local garage sales and playing bingo.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Robert “Bennie” Sampson, Patricia Pidgeon and Tina Pidgeon

She leaves to cherish her memory her companion, Harry Hamilton of the home; her niece, Francesca Pidgeon; nephew, Jesus Pidgeon and great-niece, Khaliya; two four legged children, Fat-Fat and Sassy; one brother, Timothy Sampson of California; her big cousin, Emma Eastwood of Fort Gibson, OK and Rhonda Eastwood of Tulsa, OK and Stephanie Eastwood of Fort Gibson, OK along with a host of other relatives and friends.
