Pamela Jean Howard was born on August 12, 1958 to Everett Dodd and Gladys Howard whom preceded her in death. Pam accepted Christ at an early age under leadership of Mother Grace Tucker(House of Prayer), Elder Booker T. McClellan(Mason Temple) and Gladys Hunt(House of Prayer Okmulgee). She continued to be an active member until her illness.

Pam graduated from Daniel Webster High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 28, 1976 and pursued a medical career at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She first started her career as a Nurse Assistant for Surgery, then a Supply Clerk and ended her career as a patient Transporter.

Even though Pam had no children she before her illness she was very active in directing the children’s choir and loved to comb her niece’s hair slicked down with a pound of oil. She liked going to the wrestling match with her husband, (Joe Cole) and her baby brother (Everett Howard). She liked driving fast cars and traveling. She always dressed sharp and had a great since if humor. Pam was also an awesome tambourine player. Her favorite food was fried chicken and honey buns. Don’t forget the number one from Tasty Freeze. She went to the Metro Diner and asked for a “case of beer”, but meant quesadilla. What she didn’t eat she gave to Mikey.(Joshua Rountree -Nephew) She loved Dennis the Menace, Fred Sanford and Andy Griffin. She always called her niece Becca, “meme”, and her nieces that she thought were triplets “the Meaty sisters”. She would always share her food with Journey, her great niece. Although there are many, these are just a few memories we wanted to share.

Pamela leaves to cherish her memory, a husband Joe Dean Cole, three sisters Lenora McClellan (Booker T), Dianne Vann (Daniel), Evelyn Howard all of Tulsa, Oklahoma, six brothers Dwight Howard, Ronnie Howard of Pomona, California, Billy Howard, Roderick “Kenneth” Howard (Natalie), Gary Howard and Everett Howard (Jackie) all of Tulsa, Oklahoma, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Final resting place, Crown Hill Cemetery
