Obituary

Faye Marie Ferguson,
78 years old, Homemaker

I’ve been told that I was the root of strength, love and the one who brought unity into our family. I was born May 13,1933 to the late Richard and Ethlene Mayberry in Catoosa, Oklahoma. to this union nine children were born five of which preceded me in death.

I received my education at Booker T. Washington High School, graduating with the class of 1950. I met and married Abraham W. Fergus in 1960. We had four wonderful children three daughters and one son, both my husband and son preceded me in death.

I was a young girl when I confessed my hope in Christ. I joined Thesselonian Baptist Church were I remained a faithful member.

It was a cold brisk morning on December 19, at 7:30 in the morning that God called my name, and I answered the call. i transitioned into my new journey, being met at heaven’s gate by my parents, some of my siblings, my husband and my son.

I leave behind to reflect on my passing my siblings Ozell Kirkendall of Wichita Ks; Jean Rogers,and Charles Mayberry of Vinita Ok; my children Marcilee Ferguson,Magalene Hussani, Cinderella Ferguson, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.
