Obituary
On May 20, 1933, Turner was born to Essie & Bryant Everidge in Tulsa, OK.
Turner attended Saint Monica School and graduated from Booker T Washington High School. He served in the U.S. Army at Fort Lewis, Washington and was honorably discharged in May 1933 after which he found employment opportunities in Tulsa one of which was the Port of Catoosa. After retirement he pursued his hobby of history and found pleasure is researching Tulsa, Black History and Everidge family history.
Turner will always be remembered by his famous “happy step”, smile and warm greeting.
His son, Turner Everidge Jr., preceded him in death, and he leaves to cherish his memories 1 brother, Bryant Everidge Jr., 5 children: Debora, Terry Joe, Edwina, Anetta and Benz, 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Uncle Turner, you will be so very missed!
A memorial service for Turner will be held at St. Monica Catholic Church on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 12:00 PM.
