Obituary

On January 17, 1979, a bundle of joy entered the world, bringing with her the promise of love, strength and determination, Timmetha Bashae Harris was born to Timothy and Sadonna Harris in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As their oldest daughter. She was the second oldest child born of both parents that includes, Dawn LaSha “Shay”, Timmetha, Sanita, T.J., (twins) Donald and Donna, and the baby girl, Kewonna. She was affectionately called “Timmie” by close friends and family.

“Timmie” professed a belief in Christ at an early age and became a baptized believer under the direction of Reverend Bowman in Denver, Colorado. In her adult years she attended Life Church of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

During a significant turning point in life, Timmetha was welcomed in the home of her grandparents, Robert and Rena Finch who played a pivotal role in her life. They loved and cared for her as their very own child.

Timmetha’s educational journey began in Texas and in Denver Colorado. After returning to Tulsa, Oklahoma she attended Tulsa Public Schools earning her high school diploma. As an adult she relocated to Detroit, Michigan with two beautiful children, Shaquala and Roy in tow to pursue her education in Nursing and she did just that earning her LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Degree. She was later blessed with baby Zariyah.

Her personal life took center when she was blessed with three beautiful children, Shaquala Harris, Roy Harris and Zariyah Harris. They were her pride and joy. She later became overwhelmed with great “JOY” becoming “MiMi” to Elijah, Dreyson and Zayden whom she loved and adored.

In 2017, While attending Life Church, after hearing an inspiring message from her pastor, that motivated her to step out in faith and follow God’s plan for her life by serving people. Timmetha Harris, became the founder of Overcomers Home Health Care, of Tulsa, OK. that was located at 1831 E. 71st Street South in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Her grandmother, Rena was her biggest supporter and Marketing Manager.

As a nurse, Timmetha used her faith, inspired heart, and skills to nurture people back to health. While leading and empowering her staff to first seek God in all that they do, and second, serve people with their hearts.

In Timmetha’s spare time, she led a Life Group for women. Timmetha has watched women passionately incorporate faith and prayer to help one another on a daily basis through a relationship with God. She took this passion into her business and helps others become true overcomers by combining faith with superior care. Ultimately, when our faith as patients and health care providers is combined, we are all overcomers regardless of religion, race, age, disease process, mental status and physical or emotional issues. She also enjoyed shopping and acquired a passion for interior decorating which she inherited from her grandmother’ Rena.

Timmetha’s role as the “BOSS LADY” was her personality before starting her own business. When she entered into any room her BIG personality and her bossy demeanor would own the room. She had a “BIG” heart and loved her children, family and friends dearly. She had a heart of GOLD wanting the best for all she came in contact with.

“Timmie” met Le’Varr Holloway and the couple professed their love for one another and they were recently engaged to be married in the Spring of 2026.

Although Timmetha spent countless hours working in local hospitals and agencies she spent her last days working at the Life Pace Health and the Osage Health Agencies as a traveling nurse. She truly loved her job.

On March 26, 2025, Timmetha’s journey took an unexpected turn as she peacefully passed away, leaving behind a legacy strength and resilience. She was welcomed into glory by her mother, Sadonna Harris; siblings, Donald and Donna Harris; grandfather/father, Robert Finch, Sr.; grandmother, Agatha Harris; and great-grandmother, Louise Moore along with other relatives that have patiently awaited upon her arrival.

Although Timmetha’s physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit will be lived on in the hearts of those she leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Shaquala Harris, Roy Harris and Zariyah Harris all of Tulsa, OK; her loving grandchildren, Elijah Peoples, Dreyson and Zariyah Tottress;  grandmother/mother, Rena Finch; her father, Timothy Harris; fiancé, Le’Varr C. Holloway; siblings, Satina Finch and Kewonna Harris, T. J. Harris, Dawn LaSha Herrion “Shay”, and Kewonna Harris all of Tulsa along with a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Timmetha’s legacy of service, love and inspiration will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed.
