Obituary

On October 28, 2004 a beautiful baby boy was born to Terry and Regina Yarbrough, they would loving name him, Terron. This was the third child born to this union. He was full of life.

Growing up in a family full of love, he knew what love was and who loved him most, God. Terron attended church his whole life and he had a relationship with God. As a young man he understood the power of good family and good friends.

Growing up in the Tulsa community, Terron attended Tulsa Public Schools. For elementary, he attended Jones and William Penn. Later he attended Monroe Middle School and was a current student at McLain High School.

He loved all things sports. He loved football, basketball and any other ball. If it had the word ball included in its name, Terron loved it. In the summer, you could find him playing basketball with his cousins. As a young boy, Terron loved gymnastics. You could find him flipping everywhere.

Sometimes in life, God as plans we don’t understand. On September 30, 2022, Terron was gently touched by God and called home. We may not understand but we will understand it better by and by. His memory will be one of love, life and laughter.

Waiting at Heaven’s Gate to usher him in will be his father, Terry Yarbrough II; his sister, Terralin Yarbrough, both of his grandfathers, Terry Yarbrough and Reginald Hawkins.

He leaves to cherish his memory, mother Regina Ross Yarbrough; siblings, Terry Yarbrough III, David D. Hinton, Jarvus Shannon Jr., Creed Jackson, Kash Johnson, Jordon Hilton and Yancy Green; grandmothers, Johnnie Mae Calamease, Deborah Ann Yarbrough and Cathy Ross Magnum; grandfather, Rev. Booker T. Magnum; aunts, Danielle Reid and Rachel Shaw; uncles, Richard Talton and Kevin Yarbrough; And a host of cousins other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Terron will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 1PM-8PM at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home.

Terron’s Homegoing Celebration will be at 1PM on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Metropolitan Baptist Church.

Internment will take place immediately after the service at Sharp Cemetery in Okmulgee, OK.
