Obituary

Shirley Mae Seals was born August 17, 1960 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Johnie Clausene & Rose Marie Seals. She attended and graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1978. She gave birth to three daughters and later married Troy Booze Jr.  Shirley accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at First Baptist Mohawk Church of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was employed as a chef, server, food preparer, and pastry cook for 17 years at Saint Francis Hospital and Warren Clinic.

Shirley loved her family and friends dearly. She was a kind, peaceful, and positive woman. She enjoyed cooking, collecting elephants, and being surrounded by family and friends. She collected over 60 elephants from different states and countries around the world. She was cherished, very special to her family and friends, and will be extremely missed. The love she gave to her family and friends will forever live in our hearts.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Johnie & Rose Seals, her husband Troy Booze Jr. & her brother Ronnie Green (Debra).

Her memory lives on through her three daughters, Kendra, Tanesha (Jason) & Erica (Terry), three grandchildren, Kerry Jr., Kyron, & Keshaun, one great-grandchild, Kyree, eight siblings, Rosetta, Cornelius, Ruby (Major), Annetta (Larry), Lee Etta, Johnie Jr. (LeGina), Shelia (Melvin), & Dyanne, closest friend, Valerie, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Shirley passed away on September 27, 2021. Public viewing will be held Wednesday, October 13th from 10am to 8pm at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home, located at 2103 E. 3rd St., Tulsa, OK 74104.

The celebration of life for Shirley Seals will be held Thursday, October 14th at 12pm at First Baptist Mohawk Church, located at 3333 E. 30th Street North, Tulsa, OK 74115. Masks are required inside the church.

    TO THE FAMILY I AM VERY DEVASTED TO JUST LEARN OF MY FRIEND SHIRLEY I’VE KNOW HER SINCE BACK IN THE DAY WHEN ME SHIRLEY AND RUTHIE DAVIS ALL WORKED AT DOCTOR’S HOSPITAL IN ICU HW KITCHEN SHOULD RLEY WAS SOOO SWEET WITH HER SOFT SPOKEN VOICE I HAD JUST ASK RUTHIE ABOUT 3 OE 4 MONTHS AGO HAD SHE SEEN OR TALK WITH SHIRLEY AND SHE STATED “NO” SHE HADN’T TALK WITH HER IN A WHILE I PRAY THAT GOD GRANT YOU COMFORT DURING THIS TIME I LOVE MY FRIEND SHIRLEY REST IN PEACE FAYE
