  1. Attending A Women’S Day Brunch At Paradise Church, A Group Of Us Shared Out Youth Days In Church And I Noted Mt. Rose Baptist Church. One Of The Ladies Said That Rev. Phillips Just Recently Past Away. Tears Weld Up In My Eyes And I Goggled And Found Out It Was True. Rev. Phillips Was My Pastor During Jr. High Thru High School Days. He As Well As The Church Was Such A Blessing In My Life. I Remember Summer After Sumer Of Vacation Bible School And His Encouragement For Us To Memorize Scripture. When God In His Grace Saved Me So Many Of The Scriptures I Learned From Church Attendance (Sunday School, Baptist Training Union (Btu), Monday Night Youth And Choir Meetings, And Wednesday Night Prayer Meetings) Became Real And Brought Them To My Remembrace When I Needed Them. I Thank God For The Direction And Leadership Of Pastor Phillips That Encourages Me Today. Doris Lawrey, Marshall
