Obituary
On April 25, 1958, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a handsome baby boy was born to Mrs. Juanita & Claude Neeley, Sr. whom they named Reginald. He is the 4th child born to this union.
Reginald attended Tulsa Public Schools and graduated from Central High. Reginald worked several different jobs but eventually ended up working for Borg Compressed Steel in 1982 where he worked for 37 years and retired from in 2019. He loved being retired and took full advantage of it. When asked to do anything strenuous, he would reply “I’m retired” but nevertheless, he got the task done. Reginald also met his love, Mary, in 1982 and married her in 1987. To this union, 2 daughters were born, and he gained 2 bonus sons whom he helped raise. He also had a daughter and son with his first wife, and another son as well.
Reginald accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord & Savior at an early age. He rededicated his life to the Lord, he attended Victory Christian Center Church under Pastor’s Paul & Ashley Daughtery. When he didn’t physically attend church, he watched Victory faithfully online.
Reggie loved having fun with family and friends. He would laugh so much when beating or getting beat in dominoes, uno, spades, or whatever game he was playing. Gatherings will definitely not be the same without his presence.
Reginald took his last breath on April 6 surrounded by his wife, children, siblings, grandchildren, and in laws. Reggie was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Claude Neeley, Sr and Ms. Juanita Austin, 2 siblings: Claude Neeley, Jr and LyWanda Neeley, Aunts: Allean Whitby, Mary Alice Fowler, Rosi Lee Smith, Dorthrine Holloway, Virgie Lee Martin, Georgia Lee Brown, Cynthia Brown, and Anna Freeman. Uncles: Timothy Austin, William Austin, Jr, John Paul Austin, Anthony Austin, and Johnny Rogers. Along with his grandfather William Austin and in-laws: Phillip Bell and Musetta Bell. Reginald leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mrs. Mary Neeley, mother-in-law, Ms. Margaree Vann, his children: Latasha Neeley, Meiko and LaGuya Neeley, Terrance (Monica) Neeley, Dejuan Griffin, Kenneth (Tiffany) Brown, and Larry (Melissa) Brown.
