Obituary

Perrie V. Earby was born on April 17, 1953, in McNary, Arizona, to the union of Percy and Minnie Earby. He attended South Mountain High School. He gave his life to Christ at an early age at Mountain View Church of God in Christ.

Perrie was a twin to his brother, Johnnie D. Earby. Perrie was employed with Williams Twin Towers in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a car detailer and retired after a period of 22 years. Perrie met his soulmate, Annie G. Smith, and married her on May 21, 1997. Before marriage, Perrie had a son, Tony Williams Earby of San Jose, California and 2 granddaughters Cara and Ciara Earby. With his wife Annie, he had one stepdaughter Rogenia Holiday (Gary) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, one stepson, Tony Jacobs (Rachel) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Perrie also helped raise 3 other children that called him “dad”, Armon Williams, Tamika Shields and Troy Williams, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Annie Earby, brothers; Shadrach Earby (Daisey) of Ontario, California, Shelton Earby of Tucson, Arizona, and Robert Earby (Patricia) of Phoenix, Arizona, sisters; Debra Earby, Danita Earby and Robbie Ranger all of Phoenix, Arizona. Along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Perrie was a member of Agape Outreach Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Layla Caldwell where he served as a Deacon and Greeter. Perrie loved his church and was always praising and exhorting God. Perrie called everybody his sister and brother; he never met a stranger. He was always willing to do the work of the ministries. Perrie also loved the San Fransisco 49ers and was a loyal fan.

On Tuesday, January 22, 2025, Perrie was called home after a long period of sickness at the age of 71.

Preceding him in death are his parents; Percy and Minnie Earby, his twin brother Johnnie D. Earby, brother Dan L. Earby, sisters; Lottie Earby, Lynell Williams and Leo Williams. They will never be forgotten.
