Obituary

On May 18, 2019, Linda heard the voice of the Lord and transitioned from labor to Reward. Her journey has now been completed.

Linda A Galloway was born on May 30, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Samuel D. and Dorothy J. Galloway.

Although she was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she was reared in Taft, Oklahoma.

Linda was educated through Moton Public Schools in Taft, Oklahoma. Leaving Taft, Linda moved to Tulsa where she found gainful employment at St. Francis Hospital for several years. She later left Tulsa and moved to California where she was employed by Cedar-Sinai Medical Center for 12 years until she retirement.

Linda’s number one priority was to love her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister. Anything you asked her to do, you could consider it done. Linda loved to go fishing, going to the casino and cooking greens with hot water cornbread. But her specialty was peach cobbler. She had a heart of gold. To know Linda was to love her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Galloway; two sisters, grandparents, uncles and aunts.

Linda leaves to cherish her precious memory, her mother, Dorothy Galloway of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son, Joseph (Raynesha) Washington of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Jabari of Tulsa, OK and Amir of Compton, CA.; one granddaughter, Jolina of Tulsa, OK; four sisters, Emily Galloway of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Juanita (Jay) Ayers of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ellawese Johnson of Fresno, California, and Seletha (Anthony) Eldridge of Sacramento, California; two brothers Ronnie Ceasar and Demetrius Hawkins of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Verdia (Larry) Moore of Inglewood California and a host of aunts, nieces,nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services for Ms. Linda A. Galloway 63, of Owasso, Oklahoma will 10:00am Friday June 7, 2019 Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church 1365 East 46th Street North Tulsa, Oklahoma 74106.

Burial will follow in New Bethel Cemetery Beggs, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Thursday June 6, 2019 3:00pm til 8:00pm Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home 2103 East 3rd Street Tulsa, Oklahoma 74104
