Obituary

To God be the Glory on December 23, 1950 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma a beautiful baby girl was born to John and Dorothy Pruitt, who they affectionately named Beola Marie Pruitt.

At an early age Beola was raised and baptized at Calvary Baptist Church in Sapulpa, Oklahoma under the leadership of Rev. C.O. Morris. She later joined Shiloh Baptist under Rev. M. l. Bailey until his passing and currently under the leadership of Rev. Vernell Bell where she was a faithful until her passing.

While at Shiloh Baptist Church she served in many ministries such as, Voices of Inspiration, Prayer Warrior and Women’s Missionary Society  just to name a few.

Beola graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1969, after graduation she attended Tulsa Junior College where she received her nursing assistant certification, she later moved to Tulsa to pursue a career in accounting working at Silvey Company were she later retired.

Beola’s love for her family will live through her children and grandchildren who affectionately called her “Meme”. She will be missed from the front yard BBQ’s and family gatherings which she loved so very much.

Preceding her in death are her parents, John and Dorothy Pruitt, Sister: Doretha Meeks, brothers: Malcolm Barnett, Marshall Pruitt, grandchildren; Kewon Pruitt, Sebastyn Kellum, Ashley Ortiz, Stacy Hill.

Left to rejoice in her Homegoing are her children; Anthony Pruitt, Stacy Hill, LaShellz Kellum, grandchildren; Keenan Rodgers, Dewon Pruitt, Dezteni Kellum, Marquis Kellum, Curtis Hill. six great-grandchildren; siblings, John Pruitt (Mary), Mildred Robinson, Sandra Kay Brooks (Jeff), Arzellear Pruitt, Johnnie Mae, Ernestine, Willie John, JoAnn, Martha Ann, Janice, Loretta, Arthur Lee, sister-in-law, Ann Pruitt and Dorothy Barnett; one aunt Etta Pruitt  and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and close friends.
