Tyrell D. Crawford was born August 6, 1976 to Willie L. Crawford and Sharon K. Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tyrell was educated in Tulsa, Oklahoma, learned construction working along side his father, and earned a certificate in Building Maintenance and was an entrepreneur. Tyrell enjoyed running track as a sprinter and as a long distance runner. He was even featured as a runner on the cover of The World Run. Tyrell loved to cook and travel and he spent time in California and Haiti and had additional plans to travel abroad.
Tyrell was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Simmie L. Crawford, maternal grandmother, Freddie M. Reed, father Willie L. Crawford, aunts Rhonda Crawford and Cynthia Davis, uncle Bobby J. Church and daughter Tyrielle LaDawn Crawford. Tyrell transitioned September 17th surrounded by his loved ones.
Left to celebrate and not morn his life is his mother Sharon K. Rodgers of Kansas City, MO, brothers Aaron Crawford of Bremerton, WA and Keion Rodgers of Tulsa, OK; sisters Tamona Crawford of Dallas, TX, Shar-Ronn Carter of Raytown, MO, Jamica Crawford of Kansas City, MO and Kendra Stewart of Palm Bay, FL. Tyrell also leaves behind a son, Tyree Crawford of Tulsa, OK, and daughters Tyerona Crawford of Tulsa, OK and Ty’unique Dickson of TX, and Tyerona’s mother, Markeeta Mathews; nieces and nephews: Paige, Raven, Micah, Mariah, Azia, India, Kenyon, Nytyah, Ciara, DeJuante, Amir, Jalil, Kamal, Jaden, and Elijah. He will be missed by a host of other relatives and friends.
Tyrell was a protector of his loved ones and his presence will be truly missed.
To be absent from the body is to be present with The Most High.
