Obituary

“May the work I’ve done speak for me” Funeral Services for Mr. Steven D. Pruitt 49, of Tulsa, Oklahoma will be Friday 1:00pm December 21, 2018 Calvary Baptist Church 412 North 7th Street Sapulpa, Oklahoma with Senior Pastor Scott Gordon, Eulogist.

The Story Begins.. .

Steven Douglas Pruitt was born on October 19, 1969, in Seattle Washington to John W, Pruitt, Jr. and Mattie Harris – Pruitt.

Steven was a member of the Sapulpa High School choir which had the honor of performing in Germany. He was also a member of the cross country track team.

Steven joined Calvary Baptist Church at an early age and participated in numerous auxiliaries as a youth at Calvary.

He married Cynthia Littlejohn and the were blessed with a son, Antonio Pruitt. The couple became a blended family sharing her children, Walter, Caleb, Ashley, Kieangela, Laquita and Larita whom he affectionately raised as his own.

On December 12, 2018 God called Steven Douglas Pruitt home to be with him. He was preceded in death by his mother Mattie Harris-Pruitt; his wife, Cynthia Littlejohn – Pruitt.

He leaves to cherish his memory: three sons, Antonio, Walter and Caleb four daughters; Ashley, Kieangela, Laquita, Larita; nine grandchildren; a special friend, Junoah Moore; his father, John Willie (Mary)Pruitt, Jr.; sisters, Angela (Scott) Pruitt-Margin of New York, LaVonne (Michael) Riggs of Arizona, AZ and Cerria (Keitron) Gulley of Arkansas along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.

Burial will follow in North Heights Cemetery at Sapulpa, Oklahoma with Visitation on Thursday 20, 2018 3:00pm til 8:00pm Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Memorial Chapel 2103 East 3rd Street Tulsa, Oklahoma 74104.
