Obituary
Mr. Johnnie E. Thompson, Army Veteran of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on July 15, 2021. Mr. Thompson was born on August 16, 1929 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Visitation for Mr. Thompson will be held on Wednesday, July 28, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home, 2103 E. 3rd St., Tulsa, OK 74104.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 29, 11:00 a.m., at Morning Star Baptist Church followed by interment at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.

Mr. Thompson was a great man. I remember him driving the youth at Morning Star on many trips. He was a very kind person, we will miss him very much.

I met Mr. Thompson some 20plus years ago, we were both Ushers. Mr. Thompson was a founding member of the First United Baptist District Ushers. He always had smile, willing to lend a hand when and were he was needed. Such a servants spirt, kind. giving man. Thank you for sharing him with us. We will keep the family in our prayers.
