Obituary
Mr. James “Jimmy” Hartley, age 78, departed this life January 10th, 2021, at St. Johns Hospital.
Mr. Hartley was born September 23, 1942, in Youngstown Ohio, to parents, James Hartley Sr. And Clara Martin Hartley. He was a 1961 graduate of North High School in Youngstown. He retired from American Airlines, where he worked many years. He loved listening to jazz, traveling, socializing, and doing yard work.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Tasha Hartley, his twin sister, Janice Hartley Cox, of Montgomery, Alabama, and his sister, Darnell Hartley Jefferson (Ralph) of Southfield, MI; sister-in-law, Jennevia Hartley; a granddaughter, Kennedy Phipps, and grandsons, Ian Patrick and Liam Phipps, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jerome Hartley; and a nephew, Brian Jefferson.
Due to Covid, future services to be announced.
