Obituary

In times like these, we need an anchor and that anchor is Jesus Christ. Believe in Him, trust in Him, and He will turn your darkest night into a bright new and joyful day. Remember that weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Many years of a humble and equally astounding life came to an end on Monday, August 10th, 2020 when Francell Samuels finished his walk here on earth. Frsncell was born on June 24th, 1962 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Raymond and Erma Samuels. Francell “Fronie” was preceded in death by his Father, Raymond “R.T” Samuels, Mother, Erma Gean Samuels, and his brothers Jim, Rick Samuels, and Marion Keys.

After graduating from Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Francell attended Oklahoma State University where he majored in Business Admin. Courageously ready for the world, Francell worked at Bank of America, and American Airlines traveling the Country. He returned home to work as a Real Estate Agent, then travel agent with AAA which accorded him to destinations from Hawaii to Cuba. Francell retired from AAA after 17 Years in 2020.

Francell received Christ at a young age while attending Oak Hill Baptist Church in Buford Colony, Oklahoma. He understood and valued his relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and on many occasions shared it with others.

He is survived by his Sisters, Maxine Martin of Chicago, IL; Brenda Keys of Tulsa, OK, Brothers, Raymond Samuels, Jr. (Carolyn) of Chicago, IL, Donald Ray Samuels (Dana) of Tulsa, OK, Rudolph Samuels (Kathleen) of Tulsa, Dewayne Samuels (Yvonne) of Tulsa, OK. Fronie, we will never forget your humble spirit, smile, and your beautiful heart. God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. We thank God for His grace given to you. You will be eternally missed!!!!!

  1. We First Met Francell At The Aaa Office 6-7 Years Ago. We Wanted To Take A Cruise To Alaska. We Walked Into The Office At 101 And Yale And About 4-5 Agents Were Sitting There Looking At Their Computers. Francell Was The Only One There That Acknowledged Our Presence! He Helped Us With That Trip And Many More. In Fact, He Helped Us With A British Isle Cruise Aug. 2019 And Did Such A Great Job That He Was The Agent Who Helped Our Friends From Las Vegas As Well. He Helped Us On Numerous Occasions And We Grew Very Fond Of Him. I Just Happened To Call The Aaa Office On 15Th Today Because I’D Been Thinking About Him All Summer And Wanted To See If He Did Make The Change To Frontier Air. I Knew His Last Day At Aaa Was March 13 And Had Been Worrying About His Move, Etc. I Was In Total Shock When I Was Told About His Passing! Such A Wonderful, Warm, Caring, Loving Man. Truly The Good Die Young. He Cared So Much About His Clients And Was So Professional. The Lord Needed Him I Suppose And They Don’T Come Any Finer Than Francell. We Will Miss Him Greatly. I Can Only Imagine How His Family Must Feel. At Least He Isn’T Suffering And Is Taking Care Of His Mom. We Feel Blessed To Have Known Him. Our Sincere Condolences To His Family.

  2. My Heart Is Filled With Saddest. Francell Was My Travel Agent At Aaa. I Told Him I Was Going To Miss Him At Aaa. I Will Really Miss Him Now. I Will Remember That Smile That He Had Every Time I Came To His With Any Request. Lol. Rest In Peace.

  3. So Sad To Hear About Francell’S Passing. Sweet, Kind, Loving Guy And I Was Very Blessed To Have Our Paths Cross Thru Aaa. Francell Was Loved By All And Will Forever Be In Our Hearts. Prayers For His Family And Friends. He Loved His Mom So Much And I Could Only Imagine Their Reunion Before Our Lord. Rest Easy Francell

  4. My Condolences To The Family. Francell And I Worshiped Together At Greater Cornerstone

  5. I Am So Sorry For The Loss Of Such A Kind Person. I Know He’S In A Safe And Happy Place. I Was So Blessed To Have Him As A Friend And Coworker. He Will Be Dearly Missed.
