Obituary
On February 10, 1989, Robert Pearson and Danielle Butler welcomed into this world a beautiful son, they would name him, Caleb Marshall Pearson. Many of those who knew him who affectionately call him, “KP”. Caleb was educated in the Tulsa Public School system, however; he graduated from Union Public Schools in the Class of 2008.
Knowing Jesus at an early age, KP decided to accept Christ as his personal Savior on January 26, 2003. He was a member of the New Beginnings Full Gospel Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia under the leadership of Bishop James Morton. He loved God with all his heart.
God loved KP too.. So much he blessed him with three beautiful children, Armani Pearson, Bishop Pearson and Camry Pearson to carry on his life’s legacy.
Being a hard worker, Caleb was employed by John Zink in Tulsa as a machinist. He held this position until God called him home.
He enjoyed sports; football in particular. He loved watching football and playing football. He was a part of the team called Def Row. He loved to create rap music.
Greeting Caleb at heaven’s gate will be his paternal grandparents, Patsy McCoy, Jack Cato, Clara Cato; maternal grandparents, Joshua Butler, Carol Jean Williams and Clinton Williams; uncle, ReAndre Williams and cousin, Ramone Neely.
He leaves to cherish his legacy, parents, Danielle Butler and Robert (Vera) Pearson; children, Armani Pearson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bishop Pearson and Camry Pearson of Texas; siblings, Dayan Williams of Dallas, Texas; Carol Williams, Cortney Pearson, Robert Pearson II, Tim Jones, Christopher Jones, Joshua Smell, Elizabeth Jones, Daniel Pearson, Chris Hubbard, Romero Pearson and John Pearson, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma; aunts, Yolonda Colbert, Sharonda Pointer, Bridget Pearson-McClellan, Sonya Pearson-Keys; uncles, David Colbert, James Colbert and Donald Colbert along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation for Mr. Butler-Pearson will be held on Friday, February 28, from 12:00p.m. – 8p.m., Dyer at Butler Stumpff Funeral Home, 2103 East 3rd Street, Tulsa, OK 74104.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 29, 12:00PM Antioch Baptist Church 110 West 56th Street North Tulsa, Oklahoma 74126.
The final resting place will be at Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
