Obituary

Visitation for Mr. Buntin will be held on Friday, July  7, 2023, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home, 2103 E. 3rd St., Tulsa, OK 74104.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, 2:00 p.m., at Kingdom Hall, 10404 E 63rd St, Tulsa, OK.

Michael Tony Buntin, born December 5, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio born to Janet Phillips, who preceded him in death.

He moved to Houston, Texas and lived there for 10 years before moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he met his wife,  Gretta and were married for 33 years. They had a son, Michael, Jr. He loved to play golf and cook.

Michael and Gretta were faithful Jehovah’s Witnesses. They were both baptized together in October 2016. They loved being witnesses for Jehovah.

Michael was a very loving, outgoing man. He worked for Greenhill concrete for 14 years and loved all of his coworkers.

Michael leaves behind his daughter, Rachel of Jacksonville, Florida, his daughter, Celeste of Trotwood, Ohio, his son, Michael, Jr. of Dallas, Texas, his sisters: Hanna, Darlene, Brenda and Rony, and his brother, Jeffrey, all of Cincinnati, Ohio, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and all of his spiritual brothers and sisters.  We would like to give a special “thank you” to Marko for being so kind and understanding during our family crisis.

  1. Mike was a wonder husband, father and brother in-law. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. He really enjoyed taking care of his family as well helping others to learn about our great God Jehovah and the many promises he has in store for us. Psalms 83 18

  5. To my dear beloved husband, Michael Buntins, Sr., thank you for 35 years of lifespan with you which is 33 of them was marriage. We were very much in love. And I thank you for the time that I was able to help you and take care of you and support all that you did and thank you for taking care of me as well. I will see you again in the new system. I will always love you.
