Obituary

Louise was born in Mounds, OK. October 15, 1926, to Tom Burst and Ollie Marshall.

 

She was raised in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Louise attended Sapulpa High School.

 

Louise accepted Christ at an early age and united with Calvary Baptist Church, Sapulpa Ok.

 

Louise loved family gatherings at her home. In her past time she always sat in her favorite chair at the front door observing everyone and everything. Louise loved listening to the blues and speaking her mind. She was a caring, loving person with a hot sauce personality.

 

Louise was loved by many, she departed this life on Friday, June 10, 2022 surrounded by her love ones.

 

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ida Bell; son in law, Jeremiah McLaurin; 2 grandsons, Arthur Lee Gordon (Dinky), and DeJuan Wilson, Sr.; siblings: Maybelle, Mable, Pie, Floyd, Ella Mae, Leonard, Florence, Charity, DeEtta.

 

Louise leaves to cherish her precious memories to her children Johnnie Mae White, Willie John Allen, Earnestine Lafayette, Martha Ann (Michael) Gilmore, Joan Allen, Arthur Lee Allen, Janice (Tony) Allen-Jones, and Loretta (Kris) Golden; her siblings: Roy Allen Marshall, Roberta Brown, Hattie Knox and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Burst will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home, 2103 E. 3rd St., Tulsa, OK .

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 23, 11:00 a.m., at Calvary Baptist Church, 412 N. 7th St. Sapulpa, OK.
