Obituary

On May 4, 1956, in Oklahoma City, OK a baby girl was born to Webster Lee and Betty Jo Brisker. They named her Linda Rose. Known as Dennie, she was the sixth of ten children and lived in Green Pastures, OK. Later moved to Tulsa, OK where she attended Ralph J. Bunche, Woods Elementary, Marion Anderson and Monroe Junior High ultimately
graduating from Raymond McClain High School in 1974.

 

Linda Rose attended the Church of God at an early age. For many of her working years, Linda was employed at Hilcrest Medical Center and St. John Medical Center as a domestic worker. Linda enjoyed sewing, arts & crafts, cooking, playing games, working puzzles, dancing and most of all hanging out with her nieces andnephews.

 

Linda Rose Brisker departed this life March 13th, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Linda is preceded in death by both parents Webster Lee and Betty Jo Brisker; two sisters, LeVerta Brisker and Patricia Wortham; four brother-in-laws, David Robinson Sr., Clifford Tryon Sr., James Wortham Jr., and Lonnie Carr Jr.; one niece LaTashia Anderson (Pratt); two nephews, Ronnie Wortham and James Wortham Ill.

 

Precious memories of Linda Rose will be cherished by her six sisters Jacqunett Robinson, Joycillia Wortham, Goldie Carr, Dorothy (Keith) McCoy,  Gwenneva (Roy) Davis, Idella (CharIes) Brice and one brother Ronald Lee(MoIly) Brisker, brother-in-law Clyde Wortham Sr.; two God children Kiesha Brisker and Demetri Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 

Visitation for Ms. Brisker will be held on Friday, March 18, 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home, 2103 E. 3rd St., Tulsa, OK 74104.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 19, at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Memorial Chapel at 10:00am.
