Obituary
A funeral is scheduled for Friday, September 8th, 2023, at Butler- Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home and Crematory located at 2103 E. 3rd St, Tulsa, OK 74104. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Kim Lorraine Hooks- Snell life. The family would like to thank Cancer Specialist of Oklahoma, Complete Hospice, Renaissance Health Center, extended family and friends for their care and efforts to Kim Lorraine Hooks- Snell.
Kim Lorrain Hooks-Snell died peacefully on September 1, 2023, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma at the age of 64.
Kim Lorrain Hooks- Snell is survived by her mother Jewel Hooks of Tulsa Oklahoma, brother Sylvester Hooks of Richardson, TX; sister Sharon LeFore of Bartlesville, OK ; brother Tracy Hooks of Tulsa, OK; brother Timothy Hooks of Richardson, TX; Husband Earl Snell of Tulsa, OK; and daughters Sylvia Hughey of Tulsa, Ok and Melinda Hooks-Wiafe of Las Vegas, NV. Kim Lorrain Hooks- Snell is preceded in death by her brother Christopher Deloney, of Tulsa, OK; Brother Michael Hooks of Tulsa, OK; Father Sylvester Hooks Sr. of Tulsa, Ok; Sister Pamela Hooks-Trimble of Dallas, Tx and sister Patrica Hooks of Tulsa, Ok.
Kim Lorraine Hooks was born on September 28, 1958, in Tulsa, OK to Sylvester and Jewel Hooks. She graduated from McClain High School in 1976. Kim Lorrain Hooks- Snell pursued a certificate as a medical assistant and has worked in the medical field for over 40 years. She married Earl Snell of Tulsa, Ok her long-time love in 1996. Kim Lorrian Hooks- Snell worked for River Cross Hospice until she retired in 2020.
Kim Lorrian Hooks- Snell can be described as a vivacious woman with an infectious personality. She has devoted her life to caring for others in her career and personal life. Her family remembers her as a strong, wise, and encouraging woman who enjoyed life. She always spoke her mind and made everyone smile who was around her.

My condolences to family and friends Kim was a very happy and out spoken person and very much loved..I worked with her at rivercross hospice. Very good friend. I will miss her laugh and smile.
