Obituary

Joyce E. Jenkins passed away on April 29, 2023 peacefully at her home residence at the age of 81 years old.

Joyce was born October 28, 1941 to Otha and Dorsie Woody in McAlester, Oklahoma. She married her childhood sweetheart Louie Jenkins on June 4, 1960. She and Louie raised their family in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Joyce Loved being a homemaker, cooking, sewing and camping.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Otha and Dorsie, her siblings; Marcella Woody, Toyse Woody Sr, Teresa Lay, Archie Woody and her husband Louie.

She is survived by her sister Dortha Reed, sister in law Mary Woody, her sons; Woody and his wife Kim, Vernon and his wife Terry, as well as multiple grandkids, great grand kids, nephews and nieces.

She will be laid to rest at the Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester, Oklahoma on May 3, 2023. The graveside service will take place at 2pm.
