Obituary

REFLECTIONS
As seasons passed, The Spirit led her to join the MT. Rose B.C
congregation.  There she served many years before going on
to co-found The Greater Mt. Rose Baptist Church
shepherded by Rev Earl Tottress.
She continued her calling on the local, district, and state level.
Those who knew her would admit, no church was too small
or too big, Sis Grayson had control of the floor.
JoAnn’s love and compassion is showed through her life’s
working with special needs children and adults.  After retiring
from the state of Oklahoma she continued
Working in the private sector caring for those in need.
She believed in the power of family.  She was a devoted wife,
mother, and in essence a extension of a mother to many
grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and friends thereof.
She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father
Theresa Stokes & Larthur Stokes of Los Angeles, CA.
Devoted Husband Jody B. Grayson, sister Janet Asberry
Grandsons Venell Jr. & Jodell Jr. Daughter Marshanna Avery
all of Tulsa, OK.
She leaves to cherish her memory.
Her beloved Aunt Earline Barnett.

Daughter Deborah Grayson-Lewis
Brothers; Larthur Jr. & Elmer
Sisters; Lori, Melissa & Amanda
all of Los Angeles
Her memory will live on through a host of aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
During this time of reflection, let us all acknowledge the gift
that the Most High shared with us.
