Irma Jean Williams, born April 23, 1934, in Sedan, Kansas, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories. She was the beloved daughter of Clystia E. Merrill Brown and Ralph Brown and was raised and educated in her hometown of Sedan.

On March 11, 1992, Irma was united in marriage to Cecil Williams. Their bond was one of deep love and companionship, lasting nearly 20 years until Cecil’s passing. Irma’s heart was always full when surrounded by her family, and her love for them was boundless. In return, she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Irma was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Williams; her son, Larry Scarborough; her parents, Clystia and Ralph Brown; three brothers; and three sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving grandchildren: Parrish Mathews, Markeeta Mathews, Shania Mathews, Linda Wyatt, and Marico Scarborough. Her legacy also lives on through her many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom brought great joy to her life.

Irma’s warmth, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to her family will remain in their hearts forever.
