His parents and his siblings preceded him in death and was the last remaining of the clan. Harold later moved to Boynton and he was the oldest person living resident from Boynton at the ripe young age of 98.

He was married to Annie Mae Brown – Triggs the love of his life for forty years until her death. Harold was preceded in death by his lovely wife Annie Mae, and five sons, Sanford, Eugene, Leon, Gery and Calvin. He leaves to mourn nine chuildren six girls, Patricia, Rita (Lesley), Annaretta (Jimmy), Bridgette, Rhoda, Yvette (Marcus) and Gwen granddaughter/daughter. He has 2 sons, Harold, Jr. (Annie Mae) and Donald Earl Sr. (Sam); 19 grandchildren, 21 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren: with a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.

Harold worked for Manhattan Construction Company and Plankington Packing Company in Kansas City, Kansas. Harold was an efficient Gardener which he enjoyed and took great pride in the finished crop. He was referred to as Pop’s by lot of the young people in the Boynton community. He liked sitting on his porch talking to them. His favorite thing to do was to have his babies around him that is what he called us no matter how old we were. We will truly miss our Daddy and the patriarch of the family.  Rest in Peace. We all love you Job well done.

Grandpa!! I’ve been waiting all week to see your handsome face. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for always being there for your family. It’s still hard to believe you’re gone. I pray that you’ve been reunited with grandma, your sons, and siblings. You will be missed… I never left your side without telling you what you meant to me. I LOVE you SO much and that will never change.
