Gail Louise Asberry departed this life peacefully in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Marcy 14, 2026, at the age of 69.
Gail is survived by her daughters, Scorra Green, Dr. LaToya Green, and : Sherry Gordon, MBA; her grandchildren, Isaiah A. Robinson IV, Tore Green, Orlando Robinson, Skyler Geddis, Aeriol Geddis, and Ivory Geddis; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Scorra Robinson, Rodney Asberry Sr. (wife Verna), and Dino Asberry (wife Beverly), along with a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joan Crawford- Barnett t and Wilbert Asberry Sr., as well as brothers Anthony and Wilbert Jr.
Gail was born on December 7, 1956, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Joan Crawford- Barnett and Wilbert Asberry Sr. On July 12, 1975, she married Lee Arthur Green Jr., and together they built a life centered on family. As a military family, they traveled extensively during her husband’s service in the United States Air Force, creating lasting memories across many places. Gail was a talented cosmetologist and later worked various roles throughout her life, always contributing with resilience and grace. She was known for her selfless spirit, warm personality, and outgoing nature. Her children remember her as a loving and devoted mother who supported them wholeheartedly and found joy in caring for others.
She had a vibrant presence, who brought light into every room, who gave freely of herself, and who valued family above all else. Gail’s legacy lives on through the many lives she touched with her kindness, strength, and unwavering love
