Obituary
Eric R. Henny was the fifth child born to Roy and Rozenia Henny. He was born in Tulsa, Ok on October the 30th, 1964. He went to Tulsa Public Schools with the Class of 1982. He was one of the first graduates of Job Corp.
Growing up Eric was a smart and kind person with a quiet demeanor. He had a unique sense of style and creativity, humor and talent. Eric was an excellent artist.
He also loved to walk in the early mornings and watch the sunrise. He played basketball and loved sports. The Lakers and Dallas Cowboys were his favorite teams. He liked to play golf, fishing, and hunting.
Every day before going to work he would read his newspaper and drink coffee. Eric was very knowledgeable about many world events and history. He worked for Case and Associates for 20 plus years.
Eric is preceded in death by his grandmother Leola LaVassar, his father Roy Henny, mother Rozenia Henny, nephew Charles Townsend, Aunts Bettye Opal LaVassar Johnson, Patsy LaVassar Parker, and I’lla Lavassar Davis.
Eric leaves to cherish his memory his son Andrew Smith, son Kingston Brown, sisters; Joy (Charles) Townsend, Illa Henny, Melowe Henny, brother Rick (Kim) Henny, Kwan Jackson Henny, John Henny, Shawn Henny, and Reggie Henny, nieces; Tammala (Will) Walker, Terra Palmer, nephews; Johnathan (Ashley) Townsend, David Townsend, Drexter Minor, Joseph (Sarah) Colbert, Jordan Henny and other great nephews and nieces.
Eric will surely be truly missed but we know, by the way of Christ Jesus we will see him again. May he rest in His Eternal Glory.
Eric is not gone he’s home with his Heavenly Father. Love your big sis, Illa.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 12pm at First Baptist Church North Tulsa.

I’ve learned a lot during the years since I was about 17yrs old always learned Spiritually if it wasn’t something I knew you always put that first you was My Hero my Best Friend I really am going to miss you so much I can’t stop crying yet I’m smiling cause you gained your wings and your at Peace… I love you within everything even spiritually within me ..
