On July 18, 1960, in Muskogee County, Oklahoma, Harvey Moore and Ozella Corina Robinson-Moore welcomed a baby boy and they lovingly named him, Elvin Leon Moore. He was a very skilled and talented mechanic and enjoyed rebuilding old school cars and Elvin also had businesses as a handyman and paint and body work. Elvin was a jack of all trades and remained self employed throughout his life.

Elvin was baptized at an early age by Pastor Charles H. Davis of First Baptist Church of Haskell now known as Eastside Baptist Church. Elvin was a firm believer of the gospel of Jesus Christ and you could always find him sharing the Word of God with others.

On the evening of Wednesday, September 21, 2022, Elvin surrendered to the call of his of the Savior.
