Ernest Wayne Templeton was born on June 15, 1959 in Riverside California. He was the first of 5 children born to Ernest and Mary Templeton. Shortly after Wayne was born the family planted their roots in Tulsa Oklahoma.
Wayne, being the first child, grandchild, great grandchild and nephew, had the family wrapped around his little finger. He started his education journey at Woods Elementary School. Washington high School where he graduated with the class of 1977. From High School he received some college at Northeastern University in Miami, Oklahoma.
Wayne met the love of his life Doreen Grigsby in the early 1990’s and they married on March 27, 2010. To this union 1 surprise baby was born, Donald Wayne Templeton. Wayne was a dedicated husband and father who carried the love he grew up knowing into his own family. He supported his family by starting a successful landscaping business. He prided himself by seeing to it that his customers had the most
beautiful lawn on the block.
Wayne had many friends who shared his love for basketball, music, dominoes, chess and pool. He was raised in the church and later in life accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
