Doris Marie Marshall was born on July 18, 1961 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Shirley Bell and Eugene Woods. Siblings, Anthony Marshall, Velma Woods, Tony Woods and Ebony Woods.
Doris as reared in Tulsa, Ok attending Tulsa Public Schools. She later enrolled in Job Corps in Bartlesville, Oklahoma where she obtained her High School Diploma. After completing Job Corps she returned to Tulsa and became certified as a Nurse Aide. Dorsella was a hard and faithful worker who found employment at local nursing centers such as Shamar Nursing Home, Rest Haven Nursing Home until she retired from her labor.
Although Doris had no children of her own she helped care for her cousins as if they were her very own children. He love for her family and friends and the joy she brought to others will never be forgotten. She would entertain family and friends with her love of dance. In her spare time you could find Doris quietly reading or working puzzles.
She accepted the Lord as her personal Savior at an early age. She united with the Hope of Glory Church in 2018 under the leadership of Pastor Jesse Gist.
On early morning of March 16, 2019, Doris dozed into eternity to be forever with the Lord. She was preceded her in death by her maternal grandmother, Dornella Marshall; father Eugene Woods; aunts, Katherine Wallace, Ruby Gail Marshall, Mary Lou Woods and Willie Mae Woods; uncles, John L. Marshall and George Woods.
Her memory and love will be left in the hearts of her mother, Shirley Bell of Tulsa, OK; Anthony Marshall Tulsa, OK, Velma Woods of Tulsa, OK, Tony Woods off Memphis, TN and Ebony Woods of Tulsa, OK; one aunt Mollie Marshall; two uncles, Rev. Ardallas Marshall and Willie L. Marshall; two favorite cousin/nieces, Shaquita Shaffer and Laquita Shaffer; special cousin/nephews, Gregory Rivers and Mason Markham; special cousins, Dewayne Greer, Roy Lee Wallace, DeMargo Shaffer, Demarquez Shaffer, Rodney Leon Hooks, Jocelyn Marie Shaffer, Waniiah Shaffer, Stephanie Wallace. Vinnia Shaffer and Wilfred Lewis, Jr.; special friends, Tammy Edwards, Felicia Porter, Shirley Carter Sherry, Francis Hall,
Patrina Mayo and Kim Lawson along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Dorsella will be 11:00 am Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Friday, March 22, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, also at the Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home.
