Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Eugene White, which occurred on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.  A public visitation will be held on Thursday, July, 27, 2023 at 5pm to 8pm at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home.   Services will be held the following day Friday, July 28, 2023 at 1pm at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Memorial Chapel.

A beautiful baby boy named, Donald  Eugene White was born on February 15, 1955, to Raymond and Ivarene White in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was one of three children.

Donald attended and graduated from Booker T. Washington and Sapulpa High School. He later enlisted in the Navy in 1976.  

Donald’s first job was at Champions Shoe Shop in Sapulpa at a very young age where he worked on shoes. His passion for shoes grew into a profession. He was sought after for his skill in repairing not only shoes but handbags. He even made a pair of shoes for his mother. Donald worked as an electronic technician for over 40 years earning many certifications from major companies such as RICOH and Toshiba. Donald would provide services to small business and churches as a secondary job when he was asked for help outside of his primary job.  

Donald’s passion was his music. He was a master musician. He played his bass guitar any chance he would get. He played the cover of many artists and was even known to play with well-known artists. He maintained his love for many years. 

Donald is survived by his only son and his spouse, Donovan White and daughter in-law, Hilda White, grandson in-law, Isaiah Garner, God daughter, Candis Adams, his sister, Pamela Humphrey and her significant other, Sir Ratliff; aunts, Ann
Hannibal of Oakland, CA, and Lauretta White of Kansas City, and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
