Obituary

David Lamont West was born at Saint John’s hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 19,1972, to Roy C. Sr. and Bertha A. West. Being the second born of five children, David loved to spend time with his family, creating great memories filled with laughter, whether it was barbecuing, traveling or even occasionally catching a good basketball or football game with the guys.

David wasn’t the kind of guy that worried about much. He heavily relied on his faith and relationship with God. What is meant to be, will be, in its own timing.

David welcomed three beautiful children in this world in which he leaves to cherish: One daughter Deanna (Tulsa, Ok) and his two sons David Jr. and Deyvaun (Chloe), (Tulsa, Ok). He also leaves to cherish one grandson Avery West (Tulsa, Ok) his mother Bertha (Tulsa, Ok) his three brothers Roy Jr. (Lana),

(Tulsa, Ok) Adam (Mary), (Holdenville, Ok) Jonathan (Tulsa, Ok) and one sister Courtnee, (Tulsa, Ok). And a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will take place at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home prior to the funeral service on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 10 AM-12 PM.

A funeral service for David will be held at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home at 12 PM on Friday, September 16, 2022. A graveside service will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Tulsa, OK.
