Christina Michele Walker went to her heavenly home on December 23,
2025. She embraced life to its fullest, and her greatest joy was the deep
love she shared with her family and friends.
On December 13th, 1979, the cutest bundle of love was welcomed into the
world to Barbara Walker & Horace Flowers. As her mother would say she came
out with the biggest brown eyes and full of joy. Christina was the eldest of 3
girls to Barbara. Though she was the oldest she was affectionately known as
“Big Baby”. Christina accepted Christ at an early age and later in life she was
baptized at Transformation church.
Christina was truly one of a kind, full of life, love, and laughter. She had a way
of bringing joy into every space she entered, filling it with laughter. Strong
willed and independent. Once Christina set her mind on something, she was
fully committed.
While Christina was not a mother, she embraced the role as an auntie with her
whole heart. You could always find her laughing, playing, and creating special
moments with her nieces and nephews, loving them deeply and leaving an
imprint on their lives that will last forever.
Although she faced her own life challenges, Christina never allowed them to
harden her. She continued to give genuine love to anyone who needed it. Even
in death, her selflessness lived on through the lifesaving donation of her vital
organs, granting others more time with their loved ones. Christina lives on not
only in our hearts, but also through those lives she saved.
Her life reminds us of the importance of embracing joy, not allowing life’s
burdens to weigh us down, and never losing sight of God’s plan and purpose
for us all.
She was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Walker, grandparent’s
Willie Mae Walker & Andrew Nicholson (maternal), Tom Sr. & Elizabeth Flowers
(paternal), Henrietta Daniels (Great Aunt) and many other Aunts, Uncles &
cousins. She leaves to cherish her memory Yealonda Nash (cousin), Danielle
Walker (sister), Domineke Walker (baby sister), Levi Walker (nephew) and
Horace (Patricia) Flower (father), Kellee Underwood (sister) Curran Flowers
(brother), Jaquadrian Hardy (brother), Cicely “CeCe” Williams (cousin), and host
of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many beloved friends.
She lives eternally in heaven and in our hearts.
Forever loved, never forgotten.
