Another Angel has taken his wings, the Love of my Life, my Husband Carnell Ogans Jr.
He was a good man, a very hard-working man really good with doing different Crafts, like the really cool Barbeque Grill he built in our backyard on the half acre we bought in North Tulsa many years ago. He took his time and put rough cedar around the entire House then he Built a storage Building to Match. He painted Our House and the Storage Building storm grey…We had two Paper Shell pecan trees in the backyard right off the Patio… We were told that Years before we bought that old House it used to be a Cow Barn. We Loved that old house sitting on a large corner half an acre. And the Barbeque Grill He built was Off the hook I never knew where he got his ideas some how they were already in his mind. He was standing outside one day, looking up at the roof at the back of the house, and told me hey Retha come here he said look up at the roof and I said for what? He said I think we are going to have a closed Patio built all across the back of the House, We Hired Brother Jerry Nobles Our Son Wife Tresa’s Dad, and Our Son Roderick Ogans, To Build the Added Patio, and they did just that they built an oversized Pation all the way across the back of the house and it was really Nice and Carnell had them to screen it in, we spent Countless evening and days on that Patio Watching the Squrrels play up and down the pecan treees…I will always carry with Me the Warm memories we have Shared over a Forty-year-plus life span as the Happy Couple who lived in that big old house on that Corner way back then…I Loved My Better Half with My Whole Heart, I have always been Talkative, and he was on the quiet laid back side….Rest Well in Paradise My Beloved, for We will surely meet again in GLORY.
No more Pain and Suffering, and as Chaplin Henery said, with your New Wings things will be so much Better for you, I will always hold You Near and Dear to Me, and I will always Be Eternally Grateful to God for letting me be sitting on My Friends front Steps when I laid eyes, Mind and soul on You so many Years ago Rest well My Better Half..
