Obituary
Mrs. Betty B. Thompson of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on February 16, 2025.
Visitation for Mrs. Thompson will be held on Friday, February 28, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home, 2103 E. 3rd St., Tulsa, OK 74104.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 1, 12:00 p.m., at Antioch Baptist Church, 110 W. 56th St. N., Tulsa, OK 74126 followed by interment at Highland Cemetery in Pawnee, OK.
On August 7,1947, a beautiful baby girl Betty B. McFall was born to Esther Willis and raised by father Loyal Willis. Betty lived her childhood in Cleveland, Oklahoma until she met her husband, Morris Thompson, Sr., in Pawnee, Oklahoma. They married and started a life in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Together they had two children: Treece Shaver (Barry Shaver), and Morris Thompson, Jr. (Phyllis Thompson).
Betty, was a determined, independent, and accomplished woman who never stopped dreaming or striving for excellence. She received her nurses aide certificate and became a well-respected professional in the medical field; she worked faithfully and became self-employed with her company, Betty’s Tender Loving Care, providing private duty care for seniors for more than 10 years.
Betty was a very loving person that would never miss the opportunity to help others in need. Betty spent her life serving others. She loved to go fishing in her free time! Also swimming and taking vacations with her children and grandchildren! Every year, Betty looked forward to her family cabin trip during Memorial Day weekend. During this vacation, the entire family would cook, share love and laughter!
Betty’s loving spirit will be remembered by Her Daughter, Treece Shaver and son in-law Barry Shaver, Daughter in-law ,Phyllis Thompson, God Son, Terry Hughes; Her grandchildren: Morreshia Thompson, Morris Thompson III, Barry Shaver Jr; 3 Great Grandchildren: J’lyn Burns, Jaiden Burns, Jase Jackson; Best Friend, Liz Flynn; Siblings: . Catherine Colbert, Robert Lee Houston, Julia Mae Colbert, John Willis and Jeffery Willis. The Radabaugh family will also be remembered by her very special nieces and nephews, close cousins, family, friends her church family and friends as well as the entire 51st place neighborhood were she resided for 50 years. Betty had a unique relationship with every person that she experienced.
Betty is preceded in death by her mother and father, Esther Willis and Loyal Willis, Husband, Morris Thompson, Sr., Son, Morris Thompson, Jr., and Siblings: Willie Houston, Jr., Willia Mae Robinson and Wayne Holmes.

Betty was a joyful spirit. When she would come to the Y. on Pine, we would love to see her because she was so funny and delightful. Rest well Betty and we will miss you.
