Obituary

Booker T. Johnson was a loving and devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather who worked hard all his life to provide for his loved ones. He spent his early life farming livestock, and later years moved his family to Tulsa where he joined the City of Tulsa Water Department. He retired as Manager of the city’s Water Treatment Department. His favored pastimes were spending time outdoors with friends and family hunting and fishing. He also had a love of making friends wherever he went. He was a man who enjoyed getting to know his neighbors and had the unique talent of endearing new friendships from anyone who would stop and talk with him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cora (Sango) Johnson, father, Jimmie James Johnson and later by his wife, Mary Frances (Littlejohn) Johnson; Children: Booker Jr. Johnson, April Johnson, Gary Lynn Johnson, April Johnson and Jimmie James Johnson. Brothers and sisters: Floyd Allen, Eddie Ransom, Don Ransom, Leamon Ransom, Anna James Sloan, Naomi Ransom (Gannon), Mildre Ransom (Stilwell), Gail Ransom (Willis), and Essie Ransom (Franklin). He leaves to cherish his memory, his children: Johnny Earl Littlejohn; Kenneth T Johnson, Randal Johnson and wife, Lynnette, Charles Ray Littlejohn, Billy Joe Littlejohn, Booker James Johnson, Ron Lee Johnson and husband, Justin Cole, Raydale Johnson and wife Kewonna, Coleen Johnson, and Kathleen Johnson (Ferguson); three sisters: Maggie Ransom (Horton), Linda Ransom (Powel), and Velely Ransom (Boyd); three sister in-laws: Margareta Littlejohn (Rice), Juanita Littlejohn (Garrett), Octavia Littlejohn (Love); and a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
