Obituary

“A Dedicated servant of the U.S. Army has passed on March 2, 2018 at the age of 79.

On March 5, 1938 a beautiful baby boy was born on this earth to Efton and Frances Daniels in Beggs, Oklahoma. They named him Wilmer. He was the second of this union. Wilmer, a/k/a “Will” attended Beggs public schools and graduated from Wheatley High School. He attended Spring Bluff Baptist Church where he received Christ and was baptized at an early age. Will met and married Barbara Sue (Gray) Miller. Together they raised 11 children. They later divorced. During the course of his life, Will served two years in the Armed forces Army division and was honorably discharged. Later in life, He met and married Dorothy Mae (Warner) with whom he remained married until her death. Dad was a very peaceful man and was all about his love of family. He was also a very giving man and would give you his last if he thought you needed it. He also loved to fish! He was a great fisherman and boy could he cook! Will was well loved by many. He was a kind and gentle soul but maintained great inner strength even in adversity. Rest in peace Dad..you have earned your wings!!
Will was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Daniels. Also, preceding him in death was ex-wife (and mother of his children) Barbara Sue Daniels, his mom and dad, Efton and Frances Daniels, son- Arnold Miller, daughter Janine Daniels, step-daughter- Tamesha Mougell, eldest sister Ella Compton, brothers- Andrew, Benny, and Frank Daniels. He leaves to cherish his memory his children; Marcus Miller of Oklahoma City, Retrina (Walter) King of Dallas, TX. Patrice (Greg) Riley, of Tulsa,OK Michael Daniels of Tulsa, OK, Terrence Daniels of Helena, Ok, Donna Daniels of Tulsa, OK., Willette (Brian) Watts of Tulsa, OK, Jana Daniels of Tulsa, OK. and Kerry Daniels of Tulsa, OK. He also leaves 4 brothers- Clarence (Linda), David (Louise), Troy(LaRessia), and Tommy Daniels. 4 sisters- Nora (Carl) Burns,Beverly (Clarence) Wilson, Linda and Gail Daniels. He also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

Services for Mr. Wilmer Daniels of Tulsa, Oklahoma will be Friday March 9, 2018 10:00am Shiloh Baptist Church 1124 N. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Tulsa, Oklahoma 74106.

Burial will follow at Rolling Oak Memorial Gardens Oklahoma “Visitation will be Thursday 5:00pm til 8:00pm at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home, Crematory & Cemetery 2103 East 3rd St. Tulsa, Oklahoma 74104.
