Going Hard For Christ Church 3434 S. Garnett Rd with Senior Pastor Lawrence Peoples, eulogist.

Isaiah Davon Richards was born on July 21, 1996 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James and Antoinette Richards.

With the blessing of being raised in a loving, Christian home, he fell in love with the Lord at an early age. Isaiah with his family later joined Going Hard for Christ Church of Tulsa under the leadership of Pastor Lawrence Peoples. He loved praising and worshiping his Savior. Isaiah’s worship was contagious. He personally knew God as his Lord and Savior.

If you knew Isaiah well you knew all he wanted to do was be surrounded by family and friends to share laughter and love. He will be remembered for his permanent smile and contagious laugh that could be heard by everyone in the room. While on this earth, Isaiah shared many talents including acting, dancing and singing. He gave his all until there was no more left to give. Isaiah was very fond of the performing arts and was part of a traveling team that performed in multiple cities around the United States. His chosen career pathway was Journalism and Broadcasting.

Isaiah attended Tulsa Public Schools graduating from Hope Academy in May of 2015. In June of 2015, Workforce Tulsa prepared Isaiah with a work experience/internship at Perry Publishing & Broadcasting Company (KJMM). Isaiah was punctual and displayed integrity through his work experience with KJMM. While Isaiah worked with Perry Broadcasting for his summer work experience. Isaiah did so well, not only was Isaiah’s summer work experience extended two weeks, but he then was hired full-time.

On February 18, 2018, Isaiah departed this life. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Richards, Sr.

Isaiah is survived by his parents, James and Antoinette Richards; siblings, Andre, Jamion and AlixSandra (William) Pittman; grandparents, Calvin and Sandra Webb, and Dorothy Brown; niece and nephew, Cinncerly and Jr.; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Though he has left sooner than we all expected or wanted, we know that he left on the Lord’s time, which is the greatest timing of all.

“Isaiah, you are loved and will be missed dearly. We all appreciate you for the impact you have left behind. We will carry you in our hearts forever. “Keep dancing and singing baby bo

Laughter is My Song of Choice A cousin is just another word for a sibling that lives in another house. They know your secrets and grow with you. They are the sounds of laughter that fill any event when you are together. They simply are an extension of you. The cousin we celebrate today was extraordinary. He carried the best love and always was a true friend. He was a free-spirit that had the kindest heart. Wherever he went the sounds of music and laughter followed. He sang with a smile so bright and it instantly created a feeling of comfort. We shared many laughs, tears, and secrets. We made memories, endless jokes, and a bond like no other. We caused trouble and completed each other all in one move. With a pure and beautiful soul that was as free as could be, he was my extension. The sound of his laugh is a song I will never forget for it is eternally my song of choice. To my dear cousin, brother, and friend; I will always cherish the moments we shared and I shall never forget you. Thank you for the best 21 years of life, this birthday won’t be the same without you, but you will forever be in my heart. I love you and your story does not end here. Rest Well Isaiah.
