Obituary

“On Sunday December 17, 2017 Mr. Marquilon J. Glover 33, of Tulsa, Oklahoma was called from labor to reward.

His Services: Tuesday December 26, 2017 1:00pm Shiloh Baptist Church 1124 N. Martin Luther KIng Jr. Blvd Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On January 1, 1984, a bouncing baby boy was born to Vickie Lynn Alexander and Alex “Sonny” Glover. He was the third born of ten children. His mother; one sister, Markeisha; one brother, Michael; one uncle, Marvin “Ping”; one aunt, Betty and both maternal and paternal grandparents preceded him in death.

Marquilon confessed his faith in Christ and was baptized at Pilgrim Rest Baptist church at an early age. He received his formal education from the Tulsa Public School System and obtained his General Equivalency Diploma in 2005. He went on to acquire a license in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.

Marquilon was a loving and devoted brother, father, uncle, and friend. He had an infectious smile and a distinctive laugh that could change anyone’s mood. He was a big kid at heart and would freely give you the shirt off his back. He had a passion for cars and loved breakfast cereal.

He leaves to cherish his sweet memories: his son Marquilon Jojuan Glover, Jr., Tulsa; his daughter, Marleigh Layn Amir Glover, Tulsa; his father, Alex Glover, Tulsa; four sisters, Martina Alexander (Marc), Marquita “Kori” Alexander both of Tulsa, Lashonji Keys and Tashae Dupree both of Las Vegas; six brothers, Maurico Smith (OnaJite), Mario Glover (LaNeshia), John Paul, Joseph Paul, and Ruben Williams of Tulsa, and Tony Glover of Las Vegas; two uncles, Larry Alexander, Tulsa, and Anthony Freeman, Oklahoma City; aunt, Celestine Jackson, Tulsa; a very special aunt, Margaret Alexander, Tulsa; and special friend, Lamara Craven of Tulsa; stepchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.

Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery Tulsa, Oklahoma.
