In November 2009, he reunited with Galilee Missionary Baptist Church as an associate minister.

He was employed by the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority for a number of years. He then worked for Tulsa Public Schools in the transportation department. He later became employed with the Nordam Group as an aircraft structure mechanic. After leaving Nordam he became the owner and operator of The Blazin Hot Tracks recording studio, after the closing of the studio, he became employed by Oklahoma Mobile Concrete.
