Obituary

The chapters has been read and the books closed on June 26, 2017 for Mr. Denerrious Deontae Hopkins, Sr. 26 of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Service will be Friday at 3:00pm In The Sprit Christian Center 1020 S. Garnett Rd. Tulsa, Oklahoma with Rev. Maurice Jones, eulogist.

Denerrious Deontae Hopkins was born to Yalanda Hopkins and Bobby Miller on September 19, 1990, in Tulsa Oklahoma.

Denerrious attended Putnam City Public Schools in Oklahoma City. He later received his Diploma from Career Point of Tulsa, Ok. Afterwards he attended Tulsa Welding School.

Denerrious was blessed with three children, Keyandre Hopkins, Syriah Myangel Hopkins and Denerrious Deontae Hopkins, Jr. He loved his children and loved to have a good time, and knew how to have fun with family and friends. His humorous personality made it easy for him to be love and hard to ever forget.

Denerrious loved music and was an inspiring hip hop artist. His street name became “KD”. Music was Denerrious’s passion and he dreamed one day to become a well-known artist. He loved to rap, he had a voice to sing; but rapping was his life. Denerrious recorded, wrote, and performed together sharing a craft for music.

Denerrious was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Hopkins brother; and a Bobby Miller, Jr.

Denerrious was greatly loved and will be truly missed by his parents, Yalanda Hopkins and Bobby Miller; three children, Keyandre Hopkins of OKC, Syriah Myangel Hopkins and Denerrious Deontae Hopkins, Jr., both of Tulsa; sisters, Brianna Miller of Arkansas, Cierra Miller of Virginia; brothers, Key’errious Hopkins Antonio Miller and Bobby Michael all of Arkansas; uncles, Tyrone Brown, Ryan Denson, Derrion Anderson, Greg Hopkins, Tracy Miller and Ben Watkins, Jr.; aunts, Kenja Washington, Sandra Miller, Sharon Miller, Shirley Miller, Tina Miller, and Tammy Liggins; grandmother, Delores Watkins and Gloria Jean Anderson; grandfather, Isaac Miller along with a host of cousins other relatives and dear friends.
