On May 21, 1955 Mayme Combs and John Holdman welcomed into the world a son who would be called David Clarence Morrow. David would be called affectionately Dee-Dee or Unc by all of those who loved him.

He attended Tulsa Public Schools and was a proud graduate of Tulsa Central High School. Being a Tulsa native, he knew the city very well and decided to become self-employed as a carpenter and construction worker in the area. Everyone who knew David would tell you that he was a very genuine person who was always willing to share a laugh with you. He was full of laughter and always had jokes. David was a connoisseur of that famous herb called, Mary Jane. He didn’t get high he became enlighten.

He later met Frances Brown and the couple was blessed with a daughter, Ashley. They lovingly shared over 27 years of life together and although the relationship dissolved they remained close friends.

On November 26, 2016, Jesus called David home, he was met by his father, John B. Holdman; his mother, Mayme Combs; stepfather, Nathaniel Morrow; a son, David Morrow, a daughter, Denisha Morrow; four brothers, George, David, James and John Morrow along with two sisters, Shirley and Jackie.

He leaves to cherish his memory; daughters, Emeka and Ashley Morrow and son; Robert Rhine. four grandchildren; stepmother; Alice Holdman, seven sisters, Rose (John), Johnnie Mae, Christine (Michael), Joyce (Arvester), Myrtle (Larry), Yvette (Marcus) and Cynthia; six brothers; Bruce, Nathaniel, Michael (Deborah), Allen (Judy), Dwight (Bert) and Kenneth (Stacy) and a host of other relatives and friends.

Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need! He lets me rest in the meadow grass, and leads me beside the quiet streams. He restores my failing health. He helps me do what honours Him the most.

Even when walking through the Dark Valley of Death, I will not be afraid, For You are close beside me, Guarding, guiding all the way. You provide delicious food for, Me in the presence of my enemies. You have welcomed me as Your guest; Blessings overflow! Your goodness and unfailing kindness shall be with me All of my life, And afterwards, I will live with You forever, In Your Home.
