Mrs. Joslyn D. Hamilton Ascended to her Heavenly Father on March 9, 2016

On June 22, 1951 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan a beautiful baby girl brought a full circle of love, life and happiness to Deloris and Milton Lane. They affectionately named her Joslyn. She was the eldest of nine children. Tracy, Victoria, Leleith, Vanessa, Terrence “Tappy”, Eugene “Denny Boy”, Vertis and Richard.
Joslyn was raised in Detroit, Michigan attending Clintondale Schools, graduating in 1969.

The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

After completing high school Joslyn joined in Holy Matrimony her childhood sweetheart, Wilbur Hamilton in 1969. The couple was blessed with four beautiful children, Corey, William, Roslyn and Brian and later adopted Ralisha, Raphael. In the early 1980’s the family relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma where turned a new leaf on life and humble new beginnings. She was a loving wife and homemaker that dedicated her life to her family. Roslyn was passionate about baking, she was always baking sweets for her family and church family.

Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

Joslyn professed her hope and love for the Lord and joined the Gospel Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of J.W. Ballard. She served in her fullest capacity as, Secretary, Missionary and wherever she was need. She loved the Lord and instilled that same love in children and all who came in contact with her.

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

On March 9, 2016 at home in the presences of her family. Josyln surrendered to the Master’s call and departed her earthly life to be reunited in Heaven with her parents, Milton and Deloris Lane; three siblings, Vertis, Terrence and Eugene; and son, Corey.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

She leaves to cherish her memory and continue her loving legacy her husband, Wilbur Hamilton; daughters, Roslyn and Ralisha; three sons Brian, William and Raphael; eight beautiful grandchildren and one great grandbaby along with a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends “When caring truly matters, DYER cares.”
