This Is My Story… Mr. Lonnie Dennis Williams, Sr. Alpha: May 18, 1949 – Omega: October 20, 2015
In the year of 1949 on May 18th my Lord and Savior placed me on loan, a precious baby boy. My care was entrusted to Ruth Williams and Uleysis Lynch they lovingly named me Lonnie Dennis Williams.
My earlier years were spent in Sapulpa, Oklahoma prior to my family moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma where I later graduated from Booker T. Washington High School with the Class of 1967.
During my years of employment I worked for Moton Healthcare and Tulsa Public Schools from which I retired from Tulsa Public School as a mechanic.
I accepted Christ and became a devoted Christian uniting with the Galilee Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. W. M. Pike were I remained a faithful member and chairman of the Deacon Board.
In the 66th season of my life I was “beckoned” by my Lord and Master on Tuesday October 20, 2015. I answered His Call and was greeted with open arms by my parents, Ruth and Uleysis, my brother Bruce and my spouses, Brenda and Tanga.
My story will always be remember by my children, Cantiqua Smith (Randolph), Talonna, Tia, Lonnie, Jr., Charles, Kailyne, John, Kendra and Laniece; my eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; my beloved sister, Joann (Bert); my brothers Ernest, Don, Douglas and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
“When caring truly matters, DYER Cares”
