Obituary

On April 27, 1964, a baby girl was born to Joe and Ivory Pearl Edwards in Tunie, Texas. They named her Patricia Ann Edwards.

Patricia along with her family later moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma were Patricia continued her education in the Tulsa Public School System and graduated with the Class of 1982.

Patricia found gainful employment with Long John Silvers where she remained faithful for years.

In her young adult years, Patricia met Renardo Wilson and the couple were blessed with a son and lovingly named him Patrick. They shared over 36 years of love for one another. In her spare time, Patricia liked playing bingo and listening to gospel music. Pat had much love for her family and was a friend to everyone.

Patricia surrendered to the Master’s call on May 5, 2015. She will be greeted at the Gates by her mother, Ivory Pearl Edwards and her grandparents.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory, her companion, Renardo Wilson, her son, Patrick Edwards, one granddaughter, her father Joe (Patricia) Edwards; four brothers, Ronnie (Olene) Edwards, Winford (Carol) Edwards, Gary (Precilla) Edwards allof Tulsa, Ok and Joe Edwards Jr of Texas; a step sister, Tashia Morrison; and step brother, Kenneth Woods and a host of other relatives and friends.

On May 5th, in the early morning, the Lord whispered ” Well Done” to Ms. Patricia A. Edwards.

Her celebration of Life will be Friday at 11:00am in the Alfred C. Dyer Memorial Chapel with Pastor Faye Martinez, eulogist. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday 10:00am til 7:00pm at Dyer Chapel. “When caring truly matter Dyer cares”
