Obituary

On February 21, 1976 a beautiful little baby girl was born to Fredrick and Judith Johnson. At a young age , Gerri attended and was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Claremore, Oklahoma. Gerri lived and attended school in Claremore, Oklahoma. She graduated from Claremore High School in 1994, where she was part of the marching band playing clarinet and saxophone. After graduation Gerri attended Tulsa Technology Center and took classes in Medical Coding. As a young girl Gerri started her collection of turtle figurines and she had a great love for animals. Gerri lovingly raised her two wonderful children, Khari Deshaun & Asyanna D’nea. Gerri had a big heart and opened her home to all those in need of a place to share or a meal.She was there when others needed someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on. She was always there to give a hug to someone in need. She will be remembered for all the times she shared a smile or laugh. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Johnnie and Pearl Marshall and Freddie Lee Drake and Freddie Lee Johnson and her older sister Pamela Elaine Johnson. Gerri leaves to mourn her life her children, her parents and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.
